Kathy Anderson

Kat has been a licensed agent since 2015. She became a Certified Staging Agent with Association of Staging Professionals (ASP) in 2018. Navigating buyers and Sellers through the buying and selling process is what Kathy finds most enjoyable about Real Estate. Staging and marketing is a skill set that sets Kat apart from other Listing Agents. The knowledge from owning and managing multiple income properties proves to be instrumental in guiding buyers through the buying process.

Kat was born in a small town in Mississippi, at just 9 months old, her family began a lifetime of travel adventures around the world.  Her father was a petroleum engineer, whose job brought the family to exotic places such as Dubai, Cairo, Bergen, Singapore and Jakarta. Kathy was introduced to the real estate world when her family bought and sold homes when an occasional assignment would bring the family to the United States.  As a young girl, Kathy loved house hunting with her parents.

Kathy attended the University of New Mexico and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.  She was offered a job with the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club where she worked as Manager in Stadium Operations for 6 seasons.  Kat continued on to work for Kroenke Sports Enterprises at the Pepsi Center before leaving the sports and entertainment world.   Kathy worked as a Physician Recruiter for 7 years before starting her full-time career in real estate.

Kat started her personal real estate portfolio in 2003 when she purchased her first home (a new build).  The investments grew in 2005 when she and her husband, Ron, began their income property portfolio. Kathy and Ron acquired additional properties through the downturn in the housing market.   While transitioning from the corporate world to Real Estate, Kathy worked as a showing assistant and a transaction coordinator prior to becoming a full–time Realtor in 2015.
